OFF BOOK

Three proposed website layouts

A home for Off Book.

The same app, three different ways to introduce it. Each uses the Off Book style guide, real screenshots and short, practical copy.

Layout 01

Angled phones

An app page with gently tilting phone frames, a short feature list and a screenshot gallery.

Layout 02

The reading room

An open, editorial layout. Three upright screens tell the story, with features underneath.

Layout 03

Rehearsal first

A quieter ink-coloured page. Switch between three screens, then follow the simple setup steps.

My starting pick: layout 01. It explains the app quickly and gives you the angled-phone treatment. Layout 02 is the cleanest option if you’d rather keep attention on the screens themselves.

Try the new names

The angled-phone layout with two possible app names.

What else does the site need?

  • Privacy. A plain-language policy covering scripts, recordings, permissions and any cloud processing.
  • Support. A working contact address and a short help page for common questions.
  • Pricing. Say what’s free, what’s paid and whether there’s a subscription, once decided.
  • Compatibility. Confirm minimum iOS and Android versions, supported devices and what needs an internet connection.
  • Launch details. Replace the store placeholders and add current iPhone screenshots alongside Android.
  • Terms, if needed. Clear purchase terms and any relevant conditions for uploaded scripts.

Layout 01 uses lightweight CSS phone frames with gentle mouse-follow movement. The complete screenshots stay visible, at their original proportions. Each layout supports light and dark mode, keyboard controls and enlarged screenshots.
